Workshop #1:  Out-of-the-Box Thoughts on Re-engaging Job Seekers & Learners

1st half presented by:

• John Schmidt (Prevention Services Coordinator for Youth, DE Council on Gambling Problems) will discuss brain science and the psychological application of gambling mechanics when we spend “too much” screen time which can become an addiction.  This does influence our ability to re-engaging job seekers and learners.

The 2^nd half of the workshop will provide a panel presentation that discusses how to re-engage by connecting with people who receive services in non-traditional ways.

Workshop #3:  “Connecting Employers and Job Seekers to Fill Critical Living Wage Jobs”

This panel presentation of Human Resource Managers will provide updated guidance and suggestions to staff.  Chip Riddleberger (DOL/DET) and Karlton Roberts (DOL/DET) will facilitate the discussion.
