Delaware Department of Labor
The ratio of Registered Apprentices to Journeypersons is measured on the site of work. All trades have a 1:1 ratio for the first apprentice on the worksite. All additional apprentices present on the same worksite must follow the ratios as listed below.
If a collective bargain agreement stipulates a different ratio of Apprentices to Journeypersons, it shall prevail provided it is not lower than the state standard.
