Career development at the high school level includes activities and skills that will ready students for their post-secondary life. Students will need opportunities to build employability skills. They will need to learn how to write resumes, cover letters, and fill out job applications properly. Some will need to know about the college application process. Others will need to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery in preparation for a career in the military.

These years can be extremely challenging because of the demands on everyone’s time. But, it’s also an exciting time to help young people make good decisions as they prepare for the next stage of their lives.
