What is LaborFirst?

LaborFirst is a unified enterprise system developed by the Delaware Department of Labor to modernize and streamline the Division of Paid Leave. The platform aims to simplify key processes and improve system integration, making it easier to serve the people of Delaware now and in the future.

What does it mean for me?

LaborFirst is a new, user-friendly portal that consolidates all your Delaware Paid Leave processes in one place. This portal is designed to make it easier and more efficient for you to access and manage services.

What have we done so far?

• January 2024 – The LaborFirst project began with the Paid Leave Kick Off
• September 2024 – The LaborFirst website launched and the LaborFirst Portal opened for registration
• October 2024 – Unemployment Insurance Kick Off
• December 2024 – Appeals and Complaints available for Paid Leave
• February 2025 – Waivers and Reclassifications available for Paid Leave
• April 2025 – Wage and Hour Reporting for Paid Leave
• January 2026 – Claims filing and adjudication available for Paid Leave
