The Delaware Department of Labor has agreed to extend the deadline for employers to submit an application to use a private insurance policy to December 15th. The deadline for applications to self-insure remains December 1st.

Delaware LaborFirst platform is intentionally designed to become one hub for centralized data and information for the Department of Labor (DOL), constituents including employers, third party administrators, and claimants. LaborFirst will help us in transforming the customer experience as we optimize and streamline DOL’s processes and services. LaborFirst will provide a technology platform that can quickly adapt to changing economic scenarios and ever-evolving federal and state requirements.
