If you are a person with a significant disability looking to increase your ability to function on your own at home, at work, and in your community, then Independent Living Services is available to assist you.

Following a brief period of assessment, the program may be able to provide you with home, work, and/or vehicle modifications as well as assistive technology to increase your ability to function more independently. For more information, please contact us at DOL_DVR@delaware.gov.

  • Independent living skills training
  • Peer counseling
  • Individual/systems advocacy

The services are provided either by the Office of Independent Living within DVR or by the network of centers for independent living throughout Delaware, Independent Resources, Inc. www.iri-de.org or the Freedom Center for Independent Living: www.fcilde.org.
