The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) works in partnership with the DVR. Among its several responsibilities, the SRC reviews, evaluates, and advises the DVR about its performance and effectiveness in delivering services, including how the provided services effect employment outcomes of individuals with disabilities. The SRC also seeks input from community advocates, business and industry representatives, and disability groups, as agencies develop and implement policies and procedures that directly affect the individuals served by the DVR.
We are a consumer-driven organization of members representing DVR Stakeholders. Members are appointed by the Governor and provide advice and support to the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
There are three leadership positions in the Council, the Chair, Vice-Chair and Past Chair. Each position is for a two-year term. The DVR Director serves as an ex-officio member. Find out more about SRC membership.
