Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) offer students with disabilities an early start at career exploration and preparation for adult life. DVR works with students and their families, along with schools and community partners to support students with gaining knowledge. In addition, students take part in pre-employment experiences that help them to make informed decisions about their future.

The 2026 Summer Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Experience provided students ages 14–22 with hands-on opportunities to explore career interests, participate in work-based learning, develop workplace readiness skills, strengthen self-advocacy, and prepare for future success. Through engaging activities and real-world experiences, students gained valuable skills and explored possibilities for their futures.
